My Home
Dining Room

A new piece of furniture has made its way into our home! Not that you can obviously tell, but this sideboard is a new and cherished piece. It has a beautiful antique vibe, which is why I love it so much and it compliments our table beautifully. Now that it is finally here, I am able to decorate the rest!! Which will take time! I have been waiting to get some custom art pieces made to go over it -- and now that it is here I can work around the sideboard. I love how this piece will be with...
Create Your Own Custom Mantel Garland For The Holidays
Posted by Katie Grabner on
Hi Friends! Last year, I had so much fun piecing together a lovely garland on my mantel by using different garland and different faux floral pieces I found at Michael's. This year, I wanted to create a layered look again, by using different pieces from Michael's that I found this year. I went to Michael's and picked out pieces that I thought would match the look I was going for. I love doing this instead of just a garland, because it is a much fuller and robust look than a thin piece of garland, whether real or faux. I wanted...

Adding A Splash of Color with Great Throw Pillows
Posted by Katie Grabner on
I added a splash of color in our family room, which is primarily off whites with pops of blue. In this new(ish) home of ours, I am still decorating as we go. I have a lot of plans for this room, but I'm so happy to see everything in its state today! I love this Caitlin Wilson herringbone throw blanket and the pillows! I've been trying to find someone who sells them retail, but I did have them made custom. Anything would go in front of our favorite dusty blue pillows though, I'm sharing some others I love below....

Blue and White Wall Plates

Over the weekend my hubby and I checked out an Antique Show that's been coming around for 35 years to the area. I really had no idea what to expect from the one-day show, but I definitely was hoping to score some beautiful one of a kind furniture or artwork. I quickly measured some spots in the house before leaving for the show. When we got there, we walked through some covered areas showing some antiques, like dolls and collectibles, but nothing that really caught my eye. There was some costume jewelry, a rug vendor and a little bit...
Parker's Toddler Room Mini Reveal
Posted by Katie Grabner on
Out of all of the bedrooms in our home, Parker's is one of the furthest along in terms of being slightly decorated. His room, is not by any means complete. But I thought I would share the current look, before I switch it all up again! You see, I recently just shared a little update on Parker, where I outlined that he would be in his crib for a bit longer. And as murphy's law goes, right after stating this, he started climbing out of hims crib.. a lot.. at bedtime. I have been hesitant to...
