Adding A Splash of Color with Great Throw Pillows

Posted by Katie Grabner on

I added a splash of color in our family room, which is primarily off whites with pops of blue. In this new(ish) home of ours, I am still decorating as we go. I have a lot of plans for this room, but I'm so happy to see everything in its state today! I love this Caitlin Wilson herringbone throw blanket and the pillows! I've been trying to find someone who sells them retail, but I did have them made custom. Anything would go in front of our favorite dusty blue pillows though, I'm sharing some others I love below....

Blue and White Wall Plates

Over the weekend my hubby and I checked out an Antique Show that's been coming around for 35 years to the area. I really had no idea what to expect from the one-day show, but I definitely was hoping to score some beautiful one of a kind furniture or artwork. Parker's Toddler Room Mini Reveal

Posted by Katie Grabner on

Out of all of the bedrooms in our home, Parker's is one of the furthest along in terms of being slightly decorated. His room, is not by any means complete. But I thought I would share the current look, before I switch it all up again! Decking the Halls 2017

Posted by Katie Grabner on

This year, I wasn't sure how I'd get to decorating a whole new house. With a new space, comes new needs and I have found that a lot of items we have brought with us have not always worked in our new space. Some of the christmas items have fallen into this category. Do you sense the bright, neutral, classic/preppy vibe I am going with here? I really thought we would just get a Christmas tree this year and a wreath on the front door. I set out for just those items. BUT when do we ever buy just what...

How to Create Cascading Ribbon on your Christmas Tree

Posted by Katie Grabner on

Below I will be sharing how I created this cascading ribbon effect on my Christmas tree. This year we used a fake tree for the very first time ever! We have always went out every year and bought a real tree and even throughout my entire childhood we also had real trees. Why did we make the switch this year? For one, we were tired of the mess with the needles. This year, with a little crawler on the ground, we figured it would be best to not have the needles all over. Our 10 month old daughter, puts everything...
