We received our first set of PicassoTiles for Christmas when Parker was a little over two years old. I immediately loved the concept of them and they had already come recommended from a friend who had a daughter 5 months older than Parker. I ended up setting them aside for a few months, thinking he may be too young to understand them. Once we ended up opening them, Parker played with them so much and understood how to connect them so well, that I regretted waiting! PicassoTiles have been such a big hit in our house, that I actually have them in our coffee table drawers in our family room, so they're always there to play with. We've made barns, castles and our very favorite is building garages for Parker's firetrucks and cars. We've made big ones to lots of small mini garages, houses and more! Parker loves using the magnets as a door to hinge open and closed for a garage door too.

Over time, I knew it would be smart to get another set to make bigger and better castles, garages and barns! We started with this 60-piece set, which was perfect. It was a great way to ease into them. Now that Parker is three, not only is he bigger, but so is his imagination! Anything with wheels is a big hit at our house, so when I saw this awesome Picasso Tiles set that had the ability to build "cars," I knew we had to have it! As soon as we opened the package, we built a castle and played trains for over an hour. Parker built different varieties of trains and cars and drove them around and around our play room table over and over. I have to say as a Mom, anything that can occupy a three year olds interest for that long is a 'oh-happy-day' for me. And he would have played longer, if it weren't dinner time. Say what?!

So I'm happy to say that we have very much enjoyed playing with this set, and will for years to come. I'd recommend it to any toddler and up. My close friend said her girls still play with their set at 6 and 10 years old. If I were to pick one set, I'd get The PicassoTiles 82 Piece Creativity Set. With more pieces and the wheel pieces, the creativity building side of it for children is endless!

*We were given this set for our honest and genuine opinion.
