Our Stay at The Vero Beach Hotel and Spa

Vero Beach holds a special place in our hearts. We love visiting Vero Beach, for so many reasons, and today I hope I am able to share why that is with you so that you may consider it as a destination for a future trip too.

This trip marks our 5th visit to Vero Beach and our second stay at the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa. Our first visit to the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa was for our baby moon when I was pregnant with Parker!!

As I said, I love Vero Beach for so many reasons, which makes the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa such a special place to visit. First and foremost, where the Hotel is located on Orchid Island on the beach front of Vero Beach is just the cutest beach town. The hotel is walking distance to tons of darling shops, wonderful restaurants and cute cafes and ice cream shops. We have enjoyed visiting as a couple without children and also visiting as a destination with children as well. I could go on and on why it's great for both (and I will)!

Without children (or even with) the hotel has a lovely spa right on the property. Indulge in a day at the spa and treat yourself to any of the long lists of treatments for a perfect day of self reflection and care. Also on the hotel premisses is a world class restaurant, Cobalt.

I've dined here during both of our stays and also on other visits to Vero Beach as well. It's so fun to look back on this -- I was pregnant with Parker for my first dining experience at Cobalt, we dined with Parker during our second visit when he was 6 month old (my husband will never forget that this is where my dad first gave our son dessert and that he did it before my husband got to (he had just started some solid foods and we had not yet planned to give him sugar yet. Needless to say, my husband is still sad he didn't give our son his first taste of sugar!)) and then dined again with Parker and Charlotte on our most recent visit too. While the restaurant is sophisticated and has a unique menu, we felt fine brining our kids as we made sure they were well behaved. The patio is also gorgeous and offers a perfect view of the ocean and hotel property. I love cozying up by their outdoor fire pits after a delicious meal, overlooking the ocean too.

The Vero Beach Hotel and Spa also sits right on the beach. It's a sizable hotel, compared to the other options available nearby and has the most beautiful pool and beach side/pool side restaraunt and bar too. It's such a retreat! I love how the hotel feels boutique-like in a sense in some areas, that it's not overwhelming, but offers many of the wonderful amenities a resort does too. We also just learned at our last visit that you are able to plan a day golfing nearby as well and have that organized by the hotel. We bumped into Michael in the elevator who assists with Golf and he could not have been any nicer.

The staff at the hotel definitely stands out. Everyone is genuine and is extremely kind. We felt like the staff went out of their way on all of our visits to the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa to ensure that we were happy over our visit. I always feel like warm smiles and genuine conversations stands out today when it comes to hospitality and the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa definitely embodies this hidden gem. It was also really neat that the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa used a texting service to assure that we were happy, offering any necessary assistance. One day we missed the house keeping, perhaps we were in our room, and we received a text asking about whether we would still like it or not. It was quite nice and a stand out unique feature.

The rooms are up to date and wonderful too. We loved the sizable bathrooms and kholer faucets. Our suite came with a mini kitchen as well which definitely came in handy with little ones. It never goes unnoticed when real travertine is used throughout too.

Something I also wanted to note is that I always appreciate decor and attention to detail. There are some beautiful subtle details throughout the hotel that just shows that a lot of thought was put in to everything. I adore the chippendale railings, the mirrored quatrefoil side tables in the lobby and even the sconces near the elevators. There are even some tray ceilings with a hint of blue throughout, including some of the rooms. Little details like this add a homey yet elevated touch. Speaking of homey touches, the hotel also has a full coffee bar each morning, which included our favorite cold brew too. The lobby also hosts a wine cocktail hour in the late afternoon as well with a few snacks, which is also a generous and thoughtful free addition to your stay.

All in all, we adore Vero Beach and we adore the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa. We had the best time enjoying the beach, exploring the cute beach town of Vero Beach, playing on the local playground that was walking distance to us, enjoying the lovely restaurants Vero has to offer and so much more! We will definitely be back to visit again and I hope you also consider this destination in the future as well!
