This is the second year I have hosted Christmas Eve. It's been quite fun to have family over to our house to celebrate the holidays. It always ends up being more work than I anticipated taking on the day before Christmas, but it has always been so rewarding to have family together, celebrating the most wonderful time of the year! I also can never help myself to just go a little over-board when it comes to tablescapes. I know my family would have been completely content without any of this, but whenever I have a chance to be creative, I take the opportunity and run with it. Even for just family. It's always so much fun.

I made my own centerpieces with winter whites and berries. I added fresh greenery down the center of the table over a fun runner. I also used pillar candles in different heights to add a pretty glow in the evening. I added pops of blue with red, to be unique and different. This was a Christmas Eve tablescape after all - so the zebra name tags and blue were calling my name!

I hope you enjoy the inspiration!

  • Hi Katie! Where do you get such beautiful flowers to use for your centerpieces? Thanks! :)
